As one of the millennials, I witnessed 2008 recession. The market crash was sudden and swift.

12 years passed and here we come to the same conclusion.
No matter how we ignore this fact we cannot deny the deep and far reaching consequences.
The 2008 financial crisis was just a gentle reminder for the politicians and businessmen that they can run but they cannot hide.
Of course this change of scenery will help them to take another route by adhering new economic plans and measures not just only by pouring financial incentives but also to find a new approach for the international economy to be more sustainable.
The mission is not easy to change the mechanisms of an economy the world adopted for more than a century and witnessed two major collapses.
The economy that we are talking about enhances productivity taking into consideration the integration between the environment, human innovation and the financial ecosystem.
To achieve this purpose, a clear framework should be created to deal with The economic setbacks, environmental and climate changes, and the human approach to deal with them.
Most of the media outlets are praising the role of AI robotics and the internet of things hoping that they can achieve the ultimate goal of integration. When politics interfere they can easily be forgotten and the ambiguity prevails.
Markets reaction:
The rebounds that took place today in the global financial markets are nothing but a reflection of the liquidity created by the sale of stocks and precious metals.
It may contribute to curb some of the past days losses, but it does not guarantee the full recovery of the market in light of of the Chinese CoronaVirus effects.
The reassuring thing is that what has been converted from liquidity into bonds may contribute to controlling the movement of the market at the time being.
As for crude oil prices, it is premature to define a clear perspective on it can reach 50 USD at its maximum capacity if the Chinese supplies did not witness serious declines.
The global financial markets will have some time to recover.

أكدت شركة غرانت ثورنتون للاستشارات والمحاسبة، أن الجرائم المعلوماتية أصبحت التهديد الاول الذي يؤثر على الشركات في جميع انحاء العالم، متوقعة ان ترتفع الخسائر الناتجة عنها الى 6 تريليونات دولار سنويا بحلول 2021.
وقال ويل ديفيس شريك ورئيس الشركة في ندوة للامن المعلوماتي في دبي: «في المتوسط تستغرق الشركة 191 يوماً للكشف عن خرق امنها الإلكتروني في حين ان احتواء الاختراق يستغرق 70 يوما».
واضاف: «هناك تحد كبير يتمثل في اقناع الشركات، خصوصا المصارف، بالاعتراف بانها قد تصبح ضحية للجريمة الالكترونية في اي لحظة، وبأن هذه الجرائم قد تشمل خروقات لبياناتها قد تترتب عليها خسائر شديدة».
وكان تقرير حديث صادر عن معهد بونيمون اشار الى ان منطقة الشرق الاوسط تحتل المرتبة الثانية عالميا من حيث كلفة الخروقات الالكترونية، حيث تصل كلفة كل خرق إلى نحو 6 ملايين دولار، ونصف تلك الهجمات في المنطقة تستهدف قطاع النفط والغاز.
ووفقا لـ«غرانت ثورنتون»، فمن المتوقع ان تنفق منطقة الشرق الاوسط 1.7 مليار دولار على امن المعلومات وادارة المخاطر الناتجة عن الخروقات السيبرانية في 2020 بزيادة 11% عن عام 2019.
من جهته، قال جيمس تيب، الشريك في «غرانت ثورنتون»: «تتميز منطقة الشرق الأوسط بمستوى عال من التطور التكنولوجي، وتمثّل ثروات وأصول المنطقة الغنية جاذبية كبيرة للمجرمين الالكترونيين من مختلف مناطق العالم. ويعد اختراق الهواتف المحمولة من اعلى المعدلات بين استهداف الاجهزة، وكذلك استخدام الوسائط الاجتماعية».
